Legal
The house rules.
Short and fair, like a note on the fridge. Using EpisodeHouse means agreeing to these terms — and to treating the place, and the people in it, with care. How we handle your data lives in the privacy policy.
The house rules
Be kind. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks. No spam or scams. No sexually explicit or shocking content. Use spoiler tags when you’re talking about things people might not have seen yet — that’s sacred here. Don’t impersonate others, and don’t post anything illegal. Break these and your content — or account — can be removed without notice.
Your content is yours
Everything you post — lists, posts, comments, images — remains yours. By posting it you give EpisodeHouse permission to store and display it (that’s simply how a social site works). Delete it and that permission ends. Don’t post content you don’t have the right to share.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to have an account. Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your name. One person can’t claim someone else’s identity or squat usernames maliciously.
Anime data & artwork
Titles, posters, and details come from the MyAnimeList community via the Jikan API. That artwork belongs to its rights holders — EpisodeHouse displays it for identification, the same way other catalogs do, and claims no ownership of it.
Supporting the project
EpisodeHouse is free, and every feature stays free. Supporter perks are cosmetic thank-yous, not purchases — contributions are handled through Ko-fi under their terms, and aren’t refundable subscriptions to any feature here.
The honest fine print
EpisodeHouse is a one-person passion project provided “as is.” We’ll always try our best, but there’s no warranty of uptime or permanence, and we’re not liable for losses arising from using the site. These terms may evolve as the house grows; meaningful changes will be announced plainly. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
